My guess is they can carry roughly the same amount but with the camera it would all be thrown in and in the small it would be more organized. The loulou is a bit puffier and a bit stiffer, so it may tend to hold its structure a little more than the college which has a softer leather. However, the college is more of a textured leather, slightly more scratch resistant and won't show scratches or creases as easily as the loulou due to it's smooth sheen.
