Featuring all-original dial printing and no signs of water damage or heavy discoloration, this particular model also features the desirable AOPA logo on the dial, signifying that it was sold through the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association. The radium lume Arabic numerals have aged to a handsome dark patina, which is common for this era, and show no degradation when inspected under U.V. light.
The lume on the numerals and hands has darkened to an even dark olive color. The external track shows some aging, with the bottom half slightly darker in tone. The watch is in running condition with the chronograph starting, stopping, and resetting correctly at this time. Almost a decade after the original AOPA model, Breitling introduced contrasting subdials to the Navitimer.
