I have a 6.3" wrist and one of the first things I did was try on watches across Panerai collections to see which I felt fit my wrist. For my personal preference of fit, I prefer the lugs do not noticeably extending past my wrist.
Quick shot of my TWF Panerai PAM111 (44mm), which I had never expected to fall in love with. It's now become my most worn watch. Wrist size is 7" (inches), or around 18 cm. I'm now hoping to acquire a higher-end factory version of the same model. Yesterday, I tried a 40mm Panerai and a 44mm one (a 361). Personally, I liked the 44mm size more (looked more like a classic Panerai). However, I'm not the tallest person (1.74m) and I don't want the watch to look awkward/funny on my wrist. This Luminor Marina keeps this gal's wrist nice and warm with its larger 44MM case. The PAM111 will help you count down the seconds with the subdial at 9 o'clock, as the sun drops slowly behind the calming ocean. I’ve got 6.5” wrists as well and wear a sandwich dial PAM111 nearly every day as well! The watch wears surprisingly well for a 44mm case and I think the 111 is the quintessential Panerai.

Had these out at the same time the other day and thought I would share a comparision of a Luminor 44mm vs 47mm, in the form of PAM233 (45mm) and PAM368 (47MM). At times the difference seems modest - on the wrist - but at times it is very material. I'll start with some on the wrist shots from the files.
